CUBERA SNAPPER

(Lutjanus cyanopterus)

Cubera Snappers, also known as the Cuban Snappers, are large, powerful fish commonly found in the western Atlantic.
They are prized game fish that can be incredibly tough to catch as they inhabit reefs and wrecks,
and will often head for the rocks after being hooked.
Anglers use heavy tackle with live bait or large lures, often fishing at night when cubera are more active.
