Jack Crevalle powerful, aggressive predators found in coastal waters.
Pound for pound, they are one of the toughest fighters for their size. They often hunt in schools, creating surface commotion.
Their diet consists of fish and invertebrates. Anglers target them using fast-retrieved lures, topwater plugs, and live bait like mullet or herring.

Jack Crevalle can be identified from other Jack species by their distinctive black markings on the lower base of their pectoral fins.
