GREAT BARRACUDA

(Sphyraena barracuda)

Barracudas are distinctive fish, recognised by their elongated silver & black striped bodies and rows of razor-sharp teeth.
They are true apex predators found in tropical and subtropical oceans and make for a thrilling catch.
They can reach speeds of up to 58km p/hour and ambush their prey with bursts of speed.
Anglers use lures like spoons or plugs, casting near reefs, drop-offs, or schools of baitfish.
